From the Preface: Angels have been a popular subject in recent days. Though Finis Jennings Dake never actually wrote a book exclusively on this theme, his many writings, including the extensive commentary notes in the Dake Annotated Reference Bible and the massive text of God's Plan for Man, have touched on angels repeatedly. As with any subject, if the BIble spoke at length on it, so did Dake.
As his family we are convinced that if he were alive today, he would want to address this issue. Not to disparage the popular style of many of the books on angels currently available, we beleive Finis Dake would want to approach the subject in his exclusively biblical fashion. As always, he would take the Bible literally, and give "two or three plain Scriptures" to support his points.
